I am passionate about preaching God’s Word and engaging in outreach to help others discover a Christ-centered life. Raised in New York City, I worked on Wall Street before receiving a call to ministry at the age of 25, while teaching Sunday School at Flushing United Methodist Church. I attended Dallas Theological Seminary, and have worked in ministry as a youth minister, lead pastor, and church planter. 

I enjoy cooking, reading, and listening to music. I am deeply grateful for my wife, Joo Cha, and find great joy in being a father to our three teenage children.

I am dedicated to helping youth become leaders as well as seeing the Church come together to support them. 

I grew up in Fort Collins, CO, after immigrating at the age of 8 from South Korea. I attended Colorado State University and then taught art on a Native American reservation. It was there that I felt a call to ministry.  This led me to attend seminary in Dallas, where I met my wife, Gracia. We’ve been married since 2017 and have a little dog, Boba.  In addition to being a youth pastor at Christ Central Church, I am a youth minister with Youth for Christ.

I enjoy fantasy baseball, watching football, drinking boba tea, and powerlifting.

I deeply care about helping people, restoring their relationship with Christ, and empowering them to realize their God-given potential. 

I love children and am blessed to serve as Director of Children's Ministry. I am also passionate about prayer and can be found leading our church’s weekly prayer meetings.

During the week, I work as a licensed clinical social worker in the public schools, where I provide therapeutic interventions for children and families.

In my free time I enjoy doing ballet, spending time with my three teenaged children, traveling, and trying good food.
